President

Manny Montanez brings more than 29 years of experience in the equipment finance and leasing business to the team. Prior to joining Vision Capital, Manny was in various senior management positions with MetLife Capital Corporation, the equipment finance and leasing subsidiary of The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Over the course of 22 years with MetLife, Manny staffed and built offices and divisions; recruiting, hiring and training account executives. As his last corporate assignment with MetLife Capital, Manny formed and launched a new division, Vendor Finance, ultimately growing it to more than $1.2 billion in managed assets over a six-year period. Vendor Finance became one of MetLife Capital’s top producing units, generating and sustaining consistent levels of profitability.

Manny joined VISION CAPITAL in 2002 and accepted the position of President, overseeing all phases of marketing, sales, and credit, bringing significant expertise to the Company to assist in the planning and launch of an aggressive vendor-finance marketing platform.

Manny is a highly decorated Vietnam veteran, recipient of both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart medals. He is a Board member of Children’s Hospital of Orange County and was selected as a “Man of Character” by The Boy Scouts Council of Orange County.
